Science - Glowing "Rubber" Eggs

The bouncing "rubber" egg is a classic science experiment. However, we found a cool way to take it a step further.

What you need:
Black light
sealed container
eggs (we used three so that each boy had one)
Vinegar
Highlighter markers
Patience (the whole experiment takes 1 week)

Pour a small amount of vinegar into a bowl.

Remove the ink-filled fibers from three highlighter markers.

Place in vinegar and squeeze out remaining pigment.

Check out how cool it looks under a backlight.

Pour vinegar mixture onto eggs. Fill rest of the way with vinegar.

Again, check out how awesome stuff looks with a black light.

......WAIT 1 week (by waiting a week you don't have to remove any shells)
.......
Finally! It was time to play with our experiment!

Our sexy science professor.

And then we turned on the black light.

Even the insides were glowing!
