Date Night!

Thank you to Becky and Bill for making this date night possible:)

We recently got the chance to get out for some adult time (even though Finley was in tow).
It was much needed and greatly appreciated!

We're all about the free or ridiculously cheap outings as of late. This was no exception.
First we headed to Ferch's, a super fun malt shop, where we used our Groupon certificate. Dinner cost us $8 and that included Old Fashioned Fountain Sodas. Yum!
Then we headed to our budget theater (a mere $2 ticket) to see Date Night. Very cute movie!
After the movie we headed back to Ferch's for some custard on a marble slab with our buy-one get-one coupon.
All in all a super fun night.

Apparently it was a rough night

The Spang's Visit

We were blessed by a visit from friends/classmates that we met while Mark was school in MI.
The Spang Family are missionaries that are working on raising their needed support to join NTM.
They've made a ridiculously long trip across the country two years in a row meeting with supporters and churches. Kudos to their patience and endurance! Their an awesome example and encouragement to us and anyone trying to get into missions.

Their son Zeke and our Oliver were born about 1 week apart so they're both at the same phases.

Old Fashioned Fun

While cleaning the kitchen recently Oliver got a rare treat of a sink bath. Believe it or not it's probably only the 2nd or 3rd he's ever had.

PETA LOVERS TURN AWAY YOUR EYES

This picture reminds of true serenity. The feeling of being so completely calm that you could just float away..... wait maybe the cat had just passed out.

Big brother

Oliver keeping Finley happy while I cleaned. He was showing him the colors.
I'm assuming the following conversation was because of the many birthday's we've celebrated this month....
Oliver: I buy cards
Mom: You're going to buy cards? Where are you gonna get them?
Oliver: Um... resarant.
Mom: Ok. I love you, I'll miss you.
Oliver: K. Kiss Bye
