Milwaukee Bucks Fan Appreciation

Mark always finds fun things for our family to do. We heard about this free fan appreciation day for the Milwaukee Bucks so we went downtown to watch the scrimmage, and enjoy some stadium food.
It was a fun new experience, but since neither of us know much about basketball or the team itself, I'm sure we didn't enjoy as much as some of the other diehard fans, but it was still a good rainy day activity.

Cider Fest

This super cute cider festival was at a nearby nature center. The boys got to sample apples, taste fresh pressed cider, press cider, and paint pumpkins.
And as a bonus we all got to wear plaid:)

Oliver's First Day of School - Kindergarten

Mark helped me to transform our office area into a little school-room.

We picked up this little number at a rummage for $15

This year, we're using free curriculum online, so we created our own binders to add a little flare to our mornings:)

One of my favorite parts of starting the school year, as a child, was always getting a box of school supplies from mom and dad. We followed in the same tradition with Oliver and Finley. Grandma Kelly even got them some goodies to add to it.

There he is! Picture perfect! He is such a good boy, all the time and school is no exception. He has made "teaching" a breeze, and is even still excited about school at this point.
We're so proud of him. He's like a little sponge, absorbing everything he's taught. I even heard him explaining phonetic rules to a child on the playground.
Way to go Oliver!
