Timmy The Frog
"Timmy the frog hopped into my yard
He came to visit a while
Mom, please can he stay
He wants to play
She nodded with a knowing smile.
So we leapt and we hopped
And we couldn’t be stopped
Through the grass and through the weeds,
Till we found a cool place to rest a while,
Under the shade of the trees
We lay on the ground,
Insects buzzing around
And we gazed at the wide blue sky,
We made not a sound, as we lay on the ground
Watching the clouds float by.
Then I drifted away
As a cloud passed my way
Only to wake with a fright
I gave out a sigh, as the frog said goodbye
And leapt in the woods out of sight"
