Science-Tornadoes

Mustache Baby Meets His Match

Oh Bridget Heos. You've done it again. Made a grown woman laugh out loud at a children's book.
After reading her first in this series "Mustache Baby" we fell in love. Our library recently got in the second one so we scooped it up and read it, almost immediately, after walking in the door.
Here are a few of our favorites pages...

Mark's Guy Campout

This month, Mark and a couple of his guy-buds, went camping. Growing up we were all friends but this is three of the original 4 that were ALWAYS together inmiddle-school and high-school. It's so awesome to see them still making time for each other.
Here are a few shots that mark snapped. Jody (who's a photographer) took gobs more and I'm told they're "amazing". So, I'll have to link those up when he's done editing.

Annual Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast

My friend Keegan has hosted a Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast for the past few years.
It's a really fun morning of friends, festive food and fun.

The Flash!

The kids kind of ate in waves. All together I think I counted 19.

Oliver and Hattie found this space to do some crafting (I'm just now realizing that I never checked to see if this mess was cleaned up. Keegan, if you have a mess behind your couch, I'm sorry:))
They later used their craft items to host an auction. No joke. Complete with paper money and bidding wars.
I walked down to the absent to a hoard of children bidding on items like paper hats and paper cups. Very creative.

I am continually grateful to the Lord for introducing me to Keegan, and to Keegan for her awesome friendship and for introducing me to more awesome women!
It was a great morning!

Just a typical night before bed...
